KOMSOMOL, that's a new act... some kind of a symbiosis of DJ, musician and producer Steve Cole (Netherlands/Switzerland) and POP-3, the french-swiss electro/video/art/pop-act consisting of french-vietnamese artist TK.KIM and musician/producer Merlin Monroe.
Now, that's almost complicated already, so let's rather see what's less complicated. The music. The original track is something like a fine blend of vintage electro bass, vacuum-tube-generated heavy-duty shredding and a real dancy beat... We mean, really clubby. AND there's the cute voice of above mentioned TK KIM, dealing with the deep rubbishness of what some pseudointellectuals might say to a girl... well, anyway... the track is straight und fully part of nowaday's DJ culture, and yet almost funky with it's filtermodulated analog-synth bassline... really specal and a real earcatcher.
Then! We have three remixes, number one by Sweetncandy... pumping techhouse (did we mention the voice of french-vietnamese cutie TK.KIM) for DJs and dancers, bassy and beaty. Number two by Animaltrainer, a remix that someone just defined as fucking great ass-spinning groovy shit... ok? And last but not least there's the digital bonus, by Carsten Schorr, a quite minimalist and crisp sounding rendering of PLASTOK.
